Norfolk arrived with only 9 players resulting in first Foursomes game was given to Suffolk. first tee off time was slightly delayed due to road closures however after slight delay all groups went off in good spirits. Suffolk juniors presented themselves immaculately dressed in all clothing which was Good to see. No issues with the juniors all played their best games possible. Weather held out through out the day with a few spots of rain which soon disappeared. 

Foursomes groups started of to a good start, from the first stroke to the last all the lads played a positive game which indicates to me with an easy team selection for future county matches. All the juniors had moments throughout the games however they excepted this with such good attitude moved one to the next hole or shot. 

Foursomes games, first game was given due to Norfolk unable to provide a full team. with only one game lost out of the 5 matches Suffolk was in a strong position for the morning, after lunch the lads went out singles with the last game given. After 10 holes the first groups started to walk in with wins, first time representing Suffolk county Reuben Harvey paired with Fraser Johnson came in first with a win 5 & 4. Both these lads played some fantastic golf throughout the singles, these were followed shortly by Joshua Hembling walking in with 8 & 7 win. 

Two matches went to the final holes, Callum Pearce, Captain and first time representing county golf was paired with Harry  Brinded and Charlie Goodridge paired with Joshua Hembling finished their matches on the 18th hole to win both their games which went down to a single putt to win.
